Summary of Bolivian project results 2007

Total 2007: 63’500 direct beneficiaries

(over 300,000  indirect beneficiaries)

in 5 Bolivian departments.

  • Distribution of educational material to 36'000 children

  • Over 10'000 children enjoy a daily meal in our community centres and in the schools that we support

  • 2 containers exported to Europe by the most destitute, containing food and high quality craft products

  • 25 solidarity-based micro-enterprises employ 412 people and offer training to 409 young people and women .

  • 5 new enterprises launched, including the restaurant at Lake Titicaca and quinoa workshops producing energy bars, muesli and milk.

  • Construction of a school and 2 community centres, as well as 9 other infrastructures in progress (schools and boarding facilities)
